Ross Toller was appointed Regional Deputy Commissioner (Ontario) in August 2008. His career began in 1978 when he joined the Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) as a correctional officer. Ross was a member of an institutional emergency response team, as well as a crisis negotiator. He has represented CSC on a number of international assignments including the assessment of correctional needs in Kosovo. Ross is a native of Kingston, Ontario. He has a diploma in public administration from St. Lawrence College, as well as a Bachelor's degree in social sciences from Queens University.
