We are looking for the following qualifications in successful PMPA applicants:
If you have significant employment experience, but do not meet the minimum academic qualification, you should be able to provide additional evidence of strong academic potential, such as the completion of at least two courses at the fourth year or graduate level with B+ standing, or appropriate scores in the Graduate Admission Examination (GRE) or the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT).
The School of Policy Studies and Queen's University are committed to equality in education, and invite applications from Aboriginal and visible minority candidates.
We have a rolling admissions process, and make admissions decisions on a competitive basis until all places in the program are filled. We begin reviewing PMPA applications in the late spring. Applicants who submit completed applications by 1 June can be guaranteed consideration for September admission.
Students admitted to the PMPA program may apply for advanced standing for degree credit for a maximum of two graduate courses completed prior to their enrolment to the PMPA program. Applications for advanced standing should be made at the time of application and no later than at the beginning of the first term of a student’s enrolment in the program. Courses credited towards another academic degree will not be considered for advanced standing. Learn more about Advanced Standing and off-campus course approval .
