Graduate Studies Information Exchange

The School of Graduate Studies is pleased to invite Graduate Assistants and Graduate Coordinators to participate in informal, monthly discussions on topics of interest concerning graduate studies at Queen’s. These sessions are intended to promote information exchange and discussion about best practices, what works (doesn’t work) in your program/department - essentially, we want to provide a forum that will enable us to learn about how you manage issues that we all grapple with in graduate education.

Next GSIE session:
Topic discussion:

Dean's Awards (Dean's Conference Travel, Dean's Travel Grant, Maternity/Parental Leave) and the TAARA (Tri Agency Recognition awards).  We are interested in hearing about the experiences of graduate assistants in administering these awards, specifically on the merits of these programs and whether or not they could be enhanced.
