Spring 2020 Degree Conferral and Graduation activities

Updated: March 1, 2021

We recognize that many Spring 2020 graduates were disappointed not to have had the opportunity to gather on campus with families, friends, and classmates, and cross the convocation stage in celebration of your significant accomplishments at Queen’s.

While we had hoped to resume in-person ceremonies this spring, due to the ongoing pandemic and the knowledge that public health restrictions will continue for some months yet, we have made the decision to postpone in-person spring 2021 convocation ceremonies.

When we are able to gather safely together again - with whatever modifications may be required to mitigate the risks of COVID-19 – we will be inviting you to take part in an in-person ceremony to mark your graduation.

We will stay in touch about rescheduled in-person convocation as soon as we can be confident of timing, and you can also check this webpage for updates.

Below, you will find special video messages from the Principal, Chancellor, and Rector, as well as links to information on faculty-based graduate recognition activities and the lists of conferred graduates.
