Exam Timetables

 

This section contains information and resources for students, instructors and staff related to the scheduling of exams at Queen's.

Please note: You must have a Queen’s Student Photo ID Card to gain entrance to an exam room.  YOU MUST BRING YOUR QUEEN'S STUDENT PHOTO ID TO ALL OF YOUR EXAMS.  Students writing an exam without a Queen's Student Photo ID will be assessed a fine of $50.00 per exam.

The Summer 2019 Exam Schedule is now posted to the SOLUS Student Centre.

Exams at Mitchell Hall

In December 2018, the newly opened Mitchell Hall welcomed students writing exams at Queen’s.

The new facility includes an Examination Centre (located on Level 3 - Suite 300 -  at the front of the building, in the southwest corner) that includes a total of 71 private and semi-private spaces for accommodated exams. In addition, there are 2 rooms for small classroom accommodated exams on Level 1 (Rooms 126 and 130, on the north west side of the building).

Main exam venues in Mitchell Hall include:

  • Gym 3 - located on the second floor, at the rear of the building. Please enter via the South entrance (Union Street) and stay to the west side of the mezzanine to access Gym 3.
  • Gym 4 - located on the second floor, at the rear of the building. Please enter via the South entrance (Union Street) and stay to the east side of the mezzanine, then turn left and head straight through to the end of the hallway.
  • Gym 5 - located in the basement (Lower Level 1). Please enter via the North entrance (opposite the ARC, beside the JDUC), take Stair G down and then bear right and head straight along to the end of the corridor.

For Students

The Summer 2019 Exam Schedule is now posted to the SOLUS Student Centre

1. On your SOLUS main page, under the 'Academics' section, click on the 'other academic...' dropdown menu.

2. 'Exam Schedule' will be the 11th menu item listed. Click on it, then click on the 'Go' icon;

3. From this screen, you will be able to view your Exam Timetable listing any centrally scheduled exam sittings;

4. The exam schedule on SOLUS does not reflect any accommodations. Accommodations for exams showing in SOLUS for Summer 2019 were sent to students’ Queen’s email address starting in early June.

NOTE: Exam locations only reflect the Kingston location. If you have made arrangements to write at an off-campus location for your Distance Studies course, please disregard the exam location on SOLUS, and check your class schedule. Your selected off-campus exam city will be listed there. Further information can be found on OnQ.

The Summer 2019 Exam Schedule is now posted

1. Login to PeopleSoft using your NetID and Password. If you are unsure how to do this, please contact your department or Faculty Office for assistance.

2. Click on 'Self Service';

3. Click on 'Faculty Center';

4. Click on 'My Schedule';

5. Your exam schedule appears right below 'My Teaching Schedule';

6. If you would like visual aids, please click here to view PeopleSoft System Support

    For Departmental Exam Contacts

    The Summer 2019 Exam Schedule is now posted in PeopleSoft. It will only be accessible by students (via SOLUS) and Faculty (in the Faculty Centre). Please refer to the final timetable sent by e-mail.

    Per Senate regulations, the schedule is final when posted. Sessional dates are posted here.
