Summer Residence

Basic Accommodations 

Available to students enrolled in EAP and QBridge

Victoria Hall

During the summer, QSoE students who choose to live in residence will be housed in Victoria Hall on the main campus of Queen's University.

Please note that students must be at least 18 years of age to live in residence during the summer.

Front desk staff are available 24 hours.

Room Details

  • All rooms are single occupancy.
  • Bedrooms contain a single bed, pillow, sheets, pillow cases, and towels. There is also a dresser, desk, bulletin board, bookshelf, desk lamp, chair and mirror, as well as a telephone.
  • Rooms are non-air conditioned.
  • Each bedroom also has a high-speed Internet connection. Please bring your own Ethernet cord. Weekday internet support services are available at an extra fee.
  • Laundry facilities are also located in the building (Additional fees apply).

Meals

  • The residence fee does NOT include a meal plan.
  • On-campus retail outlets are available from Monday to Friday to purchase lunches or snacks. Hospital cafeteria is open all day, including dinner and on the weekends.
  • Restaurants and grocery stores are within a short walking distance to campus.

Premium Accommodations 

Available to students enrolled in CEE and QBridge

Leggett Hall

During the summer, QSoE students who choose to live in residence will be housed in Leggett Hall on the main campus of Queen's University.

Please note that students must be at least 18 years of age to live in residence during the summer.

Front desk staff are available 24 hours.

Room Details

  • Each unit consists of two single occupancy rooms connected by a shared bathroom. Connecting bathrooms feature privacy locks.
  • Each room contains a double bed, pillow, sheets, pillow cases, and towels. There is also a dresser, desk, chair, desk lamp alarm clock, and a telephone.
  • Bedrooms are air-conditioned.
  • High-speed internet connection is provided in each bedroom. Please bring your Ethernet cord. Weekday internet support services are available at an extra fee.
  • Laundry facilities are also located in the building (Additional fees apply).
  • Lounge rooms on each floor feature kitchenette facilities, television and social areas.

QSoE Residence Package and Meals

  • The residence fee does NOT include a meal plan.
  • The premium accommodations package includes socio-cultural activities in the kitchen facilities; these activities provide students with meal preparation assistance including workshops on kitchen basics and safety training, cooking classes and shopping excursions.
  • Residence supplies are provided: summer duvet, pillow, mesh shower bag, plate, bowl, cup, utensils set (fork, spoon and knife), and chopsticks by QSoE.
  • Basic cooking supplies are provided and shared with others in the group.
  • Please note: common spaces, including kitchenettes, are shared with all occupants of the building.
