Fall Review 2013
The start of the 2013-2014 academic year has been an exciting one for us and we are looking forward to the end of the Fall session and the holiday season.
The Fall session started off with four programs this year: English for Academic Purposes, Business Internship Program, Pre-MBA QBridge Program, and CanMEDIC. We were very pleased to once again offer CanMEDIC, Canadian Medical English for Doctors from International Contexts, designed specifically for international medical graduates to help improve their English communication skills for use in the workplace. As we continue to provide support to Queen's students, we also have been working on strengthening our partnerships with universities in other countries by meeting their requests for cultural and academic tailored programs.
Our Marketing and Communications Coordinator visited China, South Korea and Brazil this session. We are thankful to our agents, student ambassadors and partner institutions for the continuing support and the warm welcome that we always receive abroad.
Other highlights of this session include our new reporting structure within the university and the introduction of a new 4-week program in July 2014. Read more about all these exciting developments by scrolling down.
And as always, don't forget to "Meet Our Instructor", Melissa McCormick-Pawsey, and learn a bit more about our Business Internship Program.
