Queen's School of English is on the move!

As of March 18, 2014, we are moving our administrative offices from main campus to west campus, from a house at 96 Albert Street that we have called home for a couple of decades to a suite of offices in Duncan McArthur Hall.


Book Sale on March 5 and 6, 2014

Book Sale

March 5-6, 2014

Queen’s School of English is moving its offices this month and we are sorting through our library. We would like some of our books and teaching resources to go to teachers and students of English as a Second Language in the Kingston community. Book are for all levels (Beginner, Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced). Representatives of non-profit agencies may take complete sets of books at no cost. The proceeds from this sale will be re-invested into our collection of books for teaching English language.


Homestay Host Recruitment

Homestay Host Recruitment

We are currently looking to recruit new Homestay hosts.  Our Homestay Program matches students with members of the community who share their homes with international students. Our homestay program is an excellent opportunity for QSoE students to practice English language skills and to learn about life in Canada.

Welcome, students, to the Fall session of our English for Academic Purposes and Business Internship Program! Please note the following details about the next few days:

Day One

If you have been accepted into the Fall 2013 program at QSoE you must write the placement test and register on Thursday, September 12th at 8am.  Please meet us at Sir John A MacDonald Hall, room 2.
