About this Event

Ever wondered what happens when women come together to practice #RadicalGenerosity and put their energy into working on the world’s ‘to-do list’?

Learn about how SheEO, a global community of radically generous women, is transforming the way we fund, support and celebrate women-led Ventures who are working on the World's To Do List.

What started as 500 women Activators funding 5 Canadian women-led Ventures in 2015 has grown to a global movement with 4,000+ Activators across four countries contributing $4M in support of 53 women-led Ventures.

Facilitated by Kingston-based SheEO Activator, Marina Darling, this panel will feature stories about how the power of the SheEO network and support is stimulating the growth and success of women-led ventures.

ABOUT SheEO:

SheEO is a global community of radically generous women supporting women-led Ventures working on the World’s To Do List

SheEO's goal is to reach 1 million Activators, 10,000 women-led Ventures and a $1B perpetual fund to support women for generations to come.

ABOUT THE WE-CAN PROJECT:

The WE-CAN Project is led by Queen’s University and supported by the Government of Canada. Its mission is to inspire and empower existing and aspiring women entrepreneurs by providing them with tools, resources, expert mentors, networks and community building to expand existing businesses and to launch new ventures.

The Government of Canada, through FedDev Ontario’s Women’s Entrepreneurship Strategy (WES) Ecosystem Fund is providing $3.2 million for Queen’s University to design and deliver programs and services to accelerate, train, mentor and provide resources to women entrepreneurs and women-led companies in the community.

The focus of the WES strategy is to provide support to women entrepreneurs from diverse and underrepresented groups.
