A new study co-authored by John Smol (Biology) that shows seabirds spread contaminants in the Arctic through their droppings receives extensive coverage including the Globe and Mail Online, National Post, Toronto Star, Ottawa Citizen, Gazette (Montreal), Edmonton Journal, Edmonton Sun, Winnipeg Free Press, Leader-Post (Regina), Calgary Herald, Vancouver Province, Vancouver Sun, Times Colonist (Victoria), Kingston Whig-Standard, the lead story on CBC online and on CBC Radio The World at Six.

Seven new Queen’s Research Chairs are highlighted in the Kingston Whig-Standard.
