Dr. David Lyon is an expert on issues related to surveillance and security technology and procedures since 9.11. Dr. Lyon is currently working on a book to be published this fall examining what Sept. 11 revealed about existing surveillance technology and whether or not the changes implemented since then have resulted in increased security. He is also author of The Electronic Eye: The Rise of Surveillance Society, and Computers, Surveillance and Privacy (co-edited with Elia Zureik).
