Placenta and neonatal development experts
The following Queen’s researchers will be participating in an international conference dealing with issues of the placenta at Queen’s from August 17 – 21 and are available for comment:
Anne Croy, Canada Research Chair in Reproduction, Development and Sexual Function, an expert in the movement of immune cells to the uterus during pregnancy.
Charles Graham cancer researcher expert on pre-eclampsia, a common pregnancy disorder characterized by high blood pressure.
Graeme Smith, head of Queen’s Perinatal Research Unit researcher in potential therapies for pre-eclampsia and the causes of fetal/neonatal brain injury.
