Marc Garneau to exit Liberal leadership race: Queen's University expert
Queen’s University Canadian politics expert Erin Crandall is available to talk about Marc Garneau dropping out of the federal Liberal leadership race.
“Once it came to signing up supporters, it became very clear that the gap between Justin Trudeau and March Garneau was too great to overcome. It’s not over yet, but by all measures available, it is now Justin Trudeau’s leadership race to lose,” says Ms. Crandall.
Ms. Crandall is the Skelton-Clark Postdoctoral Fellow in Canadian Affairs at the Queen’s political studies department and teaches courses in Canadian government and Canadian politics.
Please note that on Wednesday, March 12, she is not available between 1:30-4:30 pm. She is only available for phone interviews.
To arrange an interview, please contact Queen’s University communication officers Michael Onesi (613-533-6000 ext. 77513 or michael.onesi@queensu.ca) or Anne Craig (613-533-2877 or anne.craig@queensu.ca).
