Loss of Skyservice Airlines is bad news for consumers

Queen’s University business professor Douglas Reid is available to comment on the shutdown of Skyservice Airlines.

“It’s a move to more concentration in the airline industry – which is not consumer-friendly news. The shutdown of Skyservice is more evidence about the danger of over-leverage in an industry that's both seasonal and cyclical,” says Professor Reid, who specializes in the airline industry business.
