Innovation report card
John Molloy, President and CEO of Queen’s University’s PARTEQ Innovations and a keen observer of Canada’s track record in moving university research discoveries to market, is available to comment on the Conference Board of Canada’s “Report Card on Innovation”, to be released on Tuesday, Feb. 2.
Over the past three decades, Canada has scored a “D” on innovation. Mr. Molloy is convinced that Canada’s poor performance is due, in part, to the lack of a collaborative, national approach to moving these discoveries off the lab bench.
With 25 years of experience in successfully moving university research discoveries to market, Mr. Molloy is one of Canada’s leading experts on the commercialization of university-generated innovations.
