Income-splitting
2010-03-19
Queen’s University Law professor and expert on taxation and tax policy, Kathy Lahey, is available to discuss Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s new income-splitting plan.
According to Lahey, the proposed plan completely excludes all single caregivers who care for disabled family members at home, and will also exclude all families living in poverty, many two-income families, and disabled working parents.
To arrange an interview with professor Lahey, contact Alissa Clark at (613) 533-6000 ext. 77513, alissa.clark@queensu.ca, or Molly Kehoe, (613) 533-2877, molly.kehoe@queensu.ca.
