Harper's Aboriginal education announcement
Queen’s University aboriginal education expert Bonnie Jane Maracle is available to discuss today’s announcement by Prime Minister Stephen Harper, in which he is expected to unveil new Aboriginal education funding.
Ms Maracle teaches in the Aboriginal Teacher Education Program within the Queen’s faculty of education. She is a Mohawk and has done research on aboriginal education issues. She can discuss current problems with Aboriginal education in Canadian society today.
