Employment in the trades
Vincent Mosco, expert in labour and technology is available to discuss the Statistics Canada report on employment in the trades to be released this Friday. He can speak to the socio-economic characteristics of trade workers over the past 20 years.
Dr. Mosco is a professor with the department of sociology, and is a Canada Research Chair in Communication and Society. He recently published a book entitled, The Laboring of Communication: Will Knowledge Workers of the World Unite? where he explains how worker associations around the world are coming together to address the changes in the modern work force.
