Professor Sue Hendler died Monday of cancer after a long and brave fight.

The university community extends its deepest sympathies to her family, friends and all of her colleagues at Queen's.

Her teaching and areas of research included environmental philosophy and policy, social issues, and professional (planning) ethics. She taught at Queen's for more than 20 years.

The flags will fly at half mast in her honour. Memorial arrangements are not yet finalized.
