The annual award is presented to medical educators across Canada who have made a valuable contribution to medical education at their institution. CAME confirms nominees selected by a local committee.
Created in 1987, CAME is a grass-roots organization of medical educators, which aims to promote excellence in medical education across Canada. The group supports faculty educational development and encourages research in medical education by facilitating networking, providing opportunities to present scholarly work, and offering access to professional development activities.
