Kingston’s first Sustainability Summit takes place at the John Deutsch University Centre (JDUC) this Thursday and Friday. All are welcome to participate in discussions of the Integrated Community Sustainability Plan, which sets out to support the vision of making Kingston Canada’s most sustainable city.
Several Kingston community leaders plan to participate in the sessions, hosted by FOCUS Kingston, the city’s citizen-run strategic steering committee.
The first meeting is on Thursday, May 28 from 6 to 9 pm in the Robert Sutherland Room, and the summit wraps up the next afternoon from 1 to 4 pm in Wallace Hall in the JDUC.
