Haiti earthquake - Message from Principal Woolf
The university's flags are lowered out of respect for those who died in the recent earthquake in Haiti. I know the Queen's community joins me in expressing our deepest sympathies for the many who have lost loved ones and for those who continue to suffer in the aftermath. It is difficult for us to fully grasp the scope of this tragedy, its effect on families, including many in Canada, and the ongoing rescue efforts and struggles of those who must rebuild their lives.
I would like to remind students that support is available through Health Counselling and Disability Services at 613-533-2506, and Queen's University International Centre at 613 533-2604. Staff and faculty should contact the Employee Assistance Program at 1 800 387-4765.
Principal Daniel Woolf
