Dr Jeffrey Brison appointed Deputy Senior Editor of McGill-Queen's University Press
Patrick Deane, Vice-Principal (Academic) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Jeffrey Brison as Deputy Senior Editor in the Kingston office of McGill-Queen's University Press. Dr Brison is a specialist in Canadian history and has served as chair of undergraduate studies in the history department, where he teaches both graduate and undergraduate courses. An expert in the study of American philanthropy, his major book is on the Rockefeller Foundation and the Carnegie Corporation's influence on the arts and letters in Canada.
McGill-Queen's University Press is jointly owned and managed by Queen's and McGill Universities, and originates approximately ninety original volumes a year, in addition to distributing another thirty or so editions from other international publishers and from various specialist research institutions.
Jeff Brison joins Don Akenson, Senior Editor, Joan Harcourt, and Mary-Lynne Ascough, editors, in the Kingston office.
