Flags on campus are lowered in memory of Professor Emeritus Christopher Crowder.

Professor Crowder joined the Queen’s Department of History in 1966 where he taught and researched until his retirement. Post retirement, he continued to teach at Queen’s Bader International Study Centre. His publications include several and contributions to French, German and English journals.

A funeral service for Dr. Crowder will be held at St. Luke’s Anglican Church in Camden East on Saturday, Feb. 19, at 11 am and interment at St. Luke’s Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations can be made by cheque to St. Luke’s Anglican Church.
