Tragically Hip guitarist Rob Baker (BFA'86) and dedicated volunteer Carol Allison-Burra, Arts'68, received awards from the Kingston Branch of the Queen's Alumni Association on May 7.

Mr. Baker accepted the Padre Laverty Award for his outstanding service to Queen's and the Kingston community. Ms. Allison-Burra, a former Kingston city councillor and Queen's adjunct assistant psychiatry professor, earned the Jim Bennett Achievement Award for her dedication to various charities and volunteer organizations.
