Configuring Wireless On Blackberry OS 5 Devices

These instructions were made using OS5 and there may be differences in your configuration due to different blackberry OS's or providers.  If these instructions do not work for you please contact your wireless provider and not the ITSupport Centre.

 

 

1. Go to Manage Connections
2. Set Up Wi-Fi Network
3. Click Scan For Networks
4. Select QueensuSecure_WPA2
5. Configure.
6. Security Type: PEAP
7. username is your NetID
8. password is your NetID password
9. CA certificate: Entrust.net CA (2048)
10. Check "Disable Server Certificate Validation"
11. Everything else is default.
12. Click Connect

 

You should now be connected to the wireless network.
