Queen's University Software Licensing End User License Agreement: JMP Queen's University Information Technology Services maintains a campus license agreement with SAS Canada for their JMP statistical software. The purpose of this document is to briefly summarize the rights and obligations of the end user of JMP if obtained under this license agreement, and for the end user to indicate their acceptance of these terms and condition by completing and signing below. This form must be signed and submitted to ITServices before JMP is installed or used. ____________________________________________________________________________________ Terms and Conditions In the following terms and conditions, “Software” refers to all copies of the JMP software that were obtained under the Queen’s JMP License Agreement. 1. The Software must be used for academic purposes directly relating to research, teaching and study at Queen’s, and cannot be used for non-academic or administrative purposes at Queen’s, or for any for-profit activities. 2. The Software may only be used by employees and/or registered students of Queen’s University. 3. Faculty and other academic staff are entitled to install one copy of the Software on their on-campus computer or workstation, and optionally, a second copy on a single computer in their home. 4. Graduate Students are entitled to install only one copy of the Software on a personal computer. 5. The Software is licensed by Queen’s University for an annual fee that provides for use of the Software during a 12 month period. To continue using the software in subsequent years, an annual renewal fee must be paid. 6. If Queen’s University does not renew the license agreement for the Software, all end users must remove or uninstall the Software within 1 month of the date where the agreement lapsed. ITServices will provide all end users with 60 days notice if the decision is made to not renew the agreement, via an e-mail message sent to all license participants. 7. The end user will not make the Software available to any other person, whether a member of the Queen’s community or not. 8. ITServices is not currently in a position to provide technical support for the Software.
