As explained at http://itimesaver.wordpress.com/2010/12/09/adobe-reader-x-access-denied/ and http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/860/cpsid_86063.html/ the problem is with a new feature in Adobe Reader X called Protected Mode. This problem has been corrected in an update to Adobe Reader 10.0.1 which will be available from Ida soon, and can be downloaded from the Adobe Reader download page.
