Summer is a great time to work on new and existing web-based projects. Over the past few years, ITServices has hired summer students to help departments and faculties create or update web content using our supported services. As part of this program, ITServices will hire, train and supervise the students, as well as provide the equipment and work space necessary for them to effectively help departments and faculties meet their goals.
This program is ideally designed for clients who wish to:
The cost to clients for this year’s program is $20/hour. This covers the cost of the students' hourly wage, vacation pay, statutory holiday pay, training time and supervision, as well as some of the costs associated with project coordination.
If you think you would like to participate in this year’s Summer Student Web Resource Program (SSSWRP), please email nancy.simon@queensu.ca no later than Friday, February 18, 2011. If possible, please provide details regarding the type and scope of work involved. You will be contacted later this winter to arrange an appointment to discuss the details of your project work.
