Configure Windows 7 to Connect to eduroam

  1. Ensure you have an activated NetID.

You must have an activated NetID to connect to the eduroam service. Most users will have already completed this step at some point. However as a precautionary measure you should go to https://netid.queensu.ca/idm/user/login.jsp and login. This will ensure your account is properly activated. It may take up to an hour for the account to complete its activation. So if it does not first connect, please be patient.

  2. Go to the bottom right hand of the desktop and click on the Network Windows network taskbar icon icon. It might look different if you are already connected to a network.

  3. Click on the "eduroam" network in the list, and click Connect

Did something go wrong?

In the event that you receive an error message, it is likely you have just entered an incorrect NetID or password. Please try again.
