If you would like to access A/V equipment for academic classroom use, Audio-Visual Services in Dupuis Hall has a wide range of A/V equipment available to borrow. Data projectors, screens, wireless microphones, lapel microphones, speaker systems, DVD players, VHS players, and a host of other equipment can be booked.
IT Services has five Polycom conference phones that are loaned out on a first-come, first-served basis.. The unit is also nicknamed the "Startrek Phone" resembling equipment from the television show.
There is no charge to use the phone, but a university account code is needed for any long distance charges. The "Startrek Phone" can be picked up and dropped off in Fleming Hall/Jemmett Wing room 100.
Advanced bookings are coordinated through the ITAdmin Rep.
The Emerging Technology Centre (ETC) in Mackintosh-Corry Hall has multimedia equipment which may be booked and borrowed free of charge. Please visit the ETC website at www.queensu.ca/its/etc for more information or email etc@queensu.ca.
