The podcasting room contains the following equipment:

  • Canon HV20 1080p camcorder mounted on a Manfrotto 144 tripod
  • Behringer HPS5000 headphones (connected to the Canon camcorder)
  • Beachtek DXA-2S XLR to stereo mini (allows the camcorder to record the mics)
  • Shure SM93 XLR lapel mic
  • Audio Technica P48 XLR condenser mic
  • 5 Dayflo EZ Lite 400 Lights
  • Behringer Xenyx 1204FX mixing board
  • Behringer U-Control UCA-200 stereo RCA to USB converter

Video capturing related:

  • JVC AV Selector JX-S700 (allows switching between sources)
  • JVC DV/HDD/DVD Recorder SR-DVM700 (allows playback of DV cassettes)
  • Sony Blu-Ray Player BDP-S300
  • Sony Digital-8 Camcorder DCR-TRV240 (allows playback of Hi8 and Digital8 cassettes)
  • Samsung multi-standard VCR (supports NTSC, PAL, SECAM, PAL-N and PAL-M)
