Study in Shanghai for Fall Semester

The Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures offers a 15-week program based at Fudan University in Shanghai, China. Fudan’s programs in social research are considered to be one of the best in China.  All courses are taught in English and there is an option to also take an introductory level Chinese language course.

Students on the program embark on a life-changing journey to study and experience Asia's rise to financial and commercial dominance. By studying and living one of the world's most dynamic cities, they gain first hand knowledge of the powerful forces that are reshaping the world in the 21st century, along with all the hopes, dreams and challenges they entail.

Using as its case study Shanghai - a city  at the forefront of the globalization of commerce, finance and culture - this unique study abroad program will:

  • Immerse students in the rich culture and history of China
  • Focus on the Chinese economy and international development
