Bader International Study Centre (BISC)
Summer Orientation to Academics and Resources (SOAR)

BISC logoBISC SOAR is designed to help first-year BISC students prepare for the transition from high school to university studies at the BISC. The session will provide the academic and extracurricular information that you need for your upcoming international study experience. It will also provide you with an opportunity to meet your fellow first-year classmates and some of the BISC faculty and staff.

All first-year BISC students are STRONGLY encouraged to attend one of the full day sessions on either Friday, July 19 or Saturday, July 20. BISC SOAR sessions will be held at the School of Kinesiology and Health Studies building (link to campus map) on the Queen's University campus from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm each day. Additional information about the structure and content of the sessions can be found on the session schedule. To register for BISC SOAR, please use our on-line registration form (through Eventbrite) to indicate your preferred day to attend the session and the name of your guest.

If you are unable to attend BISC SOAR, it is essential that you contact the International Programs Office at Queen's University using the on-line registration form (through Eventbrite) to arrange a telephone advising appointment in order to register for your courses. If you are a student from one of the CUSAP partners (Dalhousie University or Huron University College), please contact the academic advisor of your home university to seek academic advice and to register for your BISC courses.
