About

I am a first year Ph.D. student studying under the supervision of Dr. Awet Weldemichael. I am primarily interested in African history, particularly the era of decolonization and independence movements.  My research focuses on African tourism and culture, exploring the role of African tourists in shaping Tanzanian nationhood and identity.
