Students Only Workshops:


The KEEP It SIMPLE LIFE SKILLS (KISS) group may be helpful for those who have difficulty tolerating emotional distress, managing and coping with emotions, dealing effectively with interpersonal situations and working purposefully towards goals. It is a series of six sessions focusing on skills.


The Wellness Skills Programme is a series of single session workshops to facilitate wellness and stress management. You are welcome to attend all or choose the topic that best meets your needs. The topics addressed through these skills focused workshop include mindfulness for wellness, positive psychology, stress management, anxiety management, public speaking, sleep issues, enhancing attention and focus, relationship skills and more.


This experiential course led by Dr. Joan Lacoursiere, of Queen's Health Services, is based on the proven mindfulness based stress reduction program developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn at the Center for Mindfulness, University of Massachusetts. We will explore mind-body medicine using mindfulness as a complement to traditional medical and psychological approaches. This program is suited to individuals motivated to actively participate in their own health, personal growth and wellbeing.
