Sustainable Living Series: alternative transportation

Two online learning sessions on sustainable transportation will take place during the Kingston Commuter Challenge and Cycling Week.

May 30 to June 5 in Kingston is both Cycling Week and the Commuter Challenge. The Sustainable Living Series will be offering two online sessions to help the Queen’s community take part.

On June 2, Adam Pennock of Kingston Transit will lead a Kingston Transit Information Session from 2:30-3:30 p.m. over Zoom. Pennock will help attendees learn how to best use the city’s transit system and how to make use of the Transpass program.

On June 3, Neal Scott of Cycle Kingston will lead a session on Cycling in the City from 2:30-3:30 p.m. over Zoom. This session will provide important tips on cycling safety, and the benefits of cycling as a sustainable commuting option.
