Graduate alum Leah Knight, currently Associate Professor at Brock University, has won the British Society for Literature and Science book prize for her book Reading Green in Early Modern England (Ashgate 2014). Dr. Knight's first book Of Books and Botany in Early Modern England: Sixteenth-Century Plants and Print Culture also won this prize in 2009.
