Union Street, 131

Built in 1969 and torn down in 1992, 131 Union Street was a temporary office building that lasted far longer than originally intended. The barn-shaped, aluminum-clad building was built as the first home of Queen's Faculty of Education as it awaited the completion of its facilities on west campus.

When the faculty moved out, it was taken over by a variety of administrative departments that had run out of space. It was torn down to make way for the construction of Stauffer Library.
