EDG researcher wins Trudeau Fellowship

(October 17, 2011) John McGarry is one of four Canadian researchers to win this year's Trudeau fellowships which are awarded annually to support "creative academics showing commitment to solving social issues that are important to Canada."  McGarry has been recognized for his ongoing work in conflict resolution and peace negotiations.

McGarry is the fourth EDG researcher to receive this prestigious award during the tenure of the project. Previous recipients include Sujit Choudhry (2010), Alain Gagnon (2010) and Will Kymlicka (2005). The fellowship provides an award of $225,000.
