Seek Advice

  • Information about admission to Queen's is available through Admission Services
     
  • For advice on program-related issues, please email Professor Paritosh Kumar (Undergraduate Chair) at devs.ugchair@queensu.ca Professor Kumar's office is located in Mackintosh-Corry Hall, room B410. It is best to email to set up a time for an appointment.
  • If you would like to ascertain whether you have or will meet all of your degree requirements - please complete a Course Tracking form for the Major, Medial or the Minor prior to meeting with the Undergraduate Chair.  Please bring this form with you to your appointment. 
  • If you are inquiring about the eligibility of courses to be taken abroad, please bring course outlines and details regarding the university to your appointment.
  • In all correspondence, please be sure to indicate if you are a DEVS student or not, and if you are a DEVS student, please identify your concentration (MAJ, MIN, MED).  Please include your student number in all correspondence.
  • You may also seek assistance from Professor Marc Epprecht, DEVS Department Head by contacting him at  epprecht@queensu.ca and/or DEVS Undergraduate Program Assistant develstu@queensu.ca The DEVS Department Head as well as the Undergraduate assistant can also provide guidance about applying to Global Development Studies, registration, application to honours, work-study placements, and graduation.
