Concurrent Session THEMES


These sessions focus on the development and use of learning outcomes as a valuable approach to making learning expectations more explicit for students and instructors alike. Sessions aim to broaden participants’ understandings of the use, value, enactment, and review of learning outcomes.


These sessions focus on topics or issues beyond the classroom. Sessions aim to provide contextualization of one’s role as an educator within the Queen’s community.

These sessions explore various activities, actions, or approaches that support learning. Sessions aim to discuss strategies that enable participants to develop skills for effective teaching in a variety of settings.
These sessions focus on valuable considerations and important issues in documenting or measuring the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and/or beliefs gained through learning. Sessions aim to engage participants in developing assessment skills both of and for learning.
