The Provost's Advisory Task Force on the Student Learning Experience has been meeting over the last year to examine every aspect of teaching and learning at Queen's. It submitted interim recommendations in May and is now in the final stages of its work. Subgroups are looking into five key areas, including teaching and learning support units, student supports for transitions and experiential learning, strategic program enhancement, learning management systems and online learning, and assessment and data collection and dissemination. Jill Scott, Vice-Provost (Teaching and Learning) will give a brief presentation highlighting some of the developing recommendations which will be followed by an open discussion.
