Costs (2012 season)

  • Participation Fee: $2,600 CDN (includes accommodation, meals, local transportation during excavation)
  • Airfare (approximate): $1,650 CDN
  • Tuition for CLST 408 (6.0 units): $1092.18 (subject to change); registration for CLST 408 is not required to participate in the excavation
  • Extra expenses: visa for Jordan (ca. $22 CDN); travel insurance; travel inoculations; spending money ($500-$700 recommended)
 

Fellowship Opportunities:

Students participating in this project can apply for scholarships offered by the American Center of Oriental Research in Jordan, the American Schools of Oriental Research, the American Schools of Oriental Research in Canada, the Archaeological Institute of America, and the Queen's Classics Department.
