PeopleSoft Operational Working Group (Draft)

The PeopleSoft Operational Working Group (POWG) will provide input and direction regarding ongoing PeopleSoft related maintenance, development and software upgrade activities and will be part of the larger campus Governance Structure for Information Technology and Services. The group will focus on matters dealing with information technology applications and processes specifically related to PeopleSoft. A regular update from this working group will be provided to the Administrative Systems Advisory Committee (ASAC).

Objectives

  1. Provide status of current activities
  2. Establish immediate and longer term priorities for maintenance, development and system upgrades
  3. Provide a regular report to ASAC including issues or opportunities requiring input
  4. Act as communications liaison to and from Advisory groups associated with the business units
  5. Provide guidance and support to the PeopleSoft Sustainment Director

Membership

Membership on the POWG will include the following:

Meetings

  • Meetings will be convened twice monthly.
  • Any member can appoint a representative at a meeting they are unable to attend. A call or email to the Chair is requested.
  • Members are expected to have the authority and responsibility to speak on behalf of the area they represent, including representing the interests of Advisory groups associated with their business units.
  • Chair will be responsible for facilitating meetings, recording minutes and reporting to the ASAC.
  • Minutes will be recorded by the Chair at all meetings, and will include a brief summary of the major issues discussed.
