Administrative Systems Advisory Committee
Provides senior level direction, leadership and oversight for enterprise level administrative systems and will be part of the larger campus Governance Structure for Information Technology and Services. The committee will focus on matters dealing with information technology applications directly supporting administrative processes.
Objectives
- Provide strategic direction for enterprise level administrative systems
- Recommend priorities for system renewals and new systems based on proposals received from university stakeholders
- Ensure integration with other administrative systems is fully defined during planning for system renewals and new systems
- Determine ongoing committee membership as additional enterprise level administrative system projects are undertaken
- Provide guidance and support to the Chief Information Officer and Associate Vice-Principal (Information Technology Services)
- Advise the Operational Review Committee regarding plans and priorities

Meetings
- Meetings will be convened monthly as required.
- Committee will select Chair.
- Any member can appoint a representative at a meeting they are unable to attend. A call or email to the Chair is requested.
- Representation at each meeting is expected.
- Chair will be responsible for facilitating meetings.
- Facilitator will be responsible for recording minutes that will include a brief summary of the major issues discussed. Agendas and minutes will be posted on the Queen’s Wiki and be open to the University.
