Admission Requirements

In order to qualify for Queen's Medical School, you need to have:

3 years of study (the equivalent of 30 OMSAS credits) in any university program.

The equivalent of 2 OMSAS credits each of the following groups:

biological sciences (eg. anatomy, biochemistry, biology, botany, genetics, immunology, microbiology, physiology, zoology)

physical sciences (eg. general chemistry, geology, organic chemistry, physics);

humanities (eg. classics, English, French, foreign Languages, film studies, drama, music, history, philosophy, religion) OR social sciences (eg. anthropology, economics, geography, political science, psychology, sociology)

All applicants are required to write the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) prior to the deadline for submission of applications to OMSAS.

Candidates must be Canadian citizens or Canadian permanent residents (landed immigrants).
