Welcome to Queen’s Commerce Program!
The issues facing society have become increasingly complex. In response, the practice of management has evolved to encompass skills and abilities in many different areas – from leadership and communication, to strategic planning and negotiation, to a broad understanding of global and cross-cultural issues. The Bachelor of Commerce Program at Queen’s School of Business reflects this ever-changing environment.
The Commerce Program prepares graduates for positions of leadership in organizations. Through a wide range of required and optional courses, students build a solid base in the underlying disciplines and functional areas of management. Students are encouraged to gain international experience through our extensive exchange program, which includes more than 85 universities in over 35 countries. Students also have the opportunity to expand their perspectives by exploring areas of study outside business, which helps develop the flexible thinking that is critical for successful leaders. The Commerce Program provides both the intellectual and social environment to prepare graduates for a productive and rewarding career. In addition to having exceptional students and a commitment to academic excellence, our growing reputation as a leader among business schools is derived from the scholarship and diversity of our faculty. Queen’s School of Business promotes a balance between teaching and research: our professors have enabled Queen’s to offer excellent programs in management education while contributing significantly to management research.
Best wishes for a successful year at Queen’s School of Business!
