Ruth Cereceda researches the contemporary cultural exchanges that occurred between Hispanic communities within the Atlantic Arch, and more specifically, in creating the artist's catalogue of painter Eduardo Sanz. Such research is part of a project shared by a number of Spanish and Latin American Governmental and Higher Education institutions to recuperate artistic and cultural Hispanic heritage, such as the Centre for the Arts Cabo Mayor Lighthouse, in Spain. This has lead to the study of the influence and representation of maritime culture(s) within the Northern Atlantic Sea in contemporary art.
