Many medical reports conclude that physical health promotes mental health as well as improving concentration in the classroom. The BISC is committed to the mental and physical health of our students and we encourage active participation in the activities in and around campus.
There is a Sports hall (basketball/volleyball court) on site where intramurals are held weekly. Students are also encouraged to use this facility for pick-up sports. There are also cardio, resistance machines and weights. We arrange specialist trainers to come to our sports hall (at a reduced cost to students) to hold the classes based on student requests. In the past these have included: Kickboxing, Zumba, Kettlebell, Yoga, and Military Circuits.
If there is a training programme you are particularly keen on, or perhaps you are qualified to teach, please let Student Services know. The 500 acres of beautiful grounds are also a favourite for cross country runners and walkers. You are also encouraged to make use of the cricket, football and outdoor sports facilities and equipment including the tennis court.
